This was pieced together from several old photographs. Chris researched Brighton’s West Pier during his time at the Royal College of Art. He visited many times taking hundreds of photographs to use as inspiration for his first year stop motion film.

Even back in 1998 there was a certain melancholy about the disrepair of this once magnificent landmark. When it finally burned down and fell into the sea forever, Chris wanted to revisit those photos and reimagine it a time when it was in its full glory. It seemed appropriate to print it in Brighton Rock pink.
